Our Philosophy
The focus of the Athletic program at Episcopal Day School is to create a positive, supportive, non-threatening environment where each student is encouraged to be the best that he or she can be. Through our team and individual sports, we strive to promote and develop team cooperation, good sportsmanship, a sense of fair play, and pride in one’s self and community.
EDS has traditionally been a powerhouse in the Augusta/Aiken Private Middle School League, consistently finishing in the top four at league tournaments.

Who We Play
EDS participates in the Augusta/Aiken Private Middle School League which consists of the following schools:
Aiken Christian, Aiken Prep, Alleluia, Augusta Christian, Augusta Prep, Curtis Baptist, Heritage Academy, Hillcrest, Immaculate Conception, Mead Hall, New Hope, Our Lady of Peace, St. Mary’s Augusta, St. Mary’s Aiken, Westminster

Booster Club
The Booster Club is a group of EDS parents and friends who support our athletic program through their annual membership dues. The dues are $125, which is payable at the beginning of each school year. Members receive free admission to all home athletic events and a panther pride car decal.
The Booster Club is in charge of the concession stand during basketball season, and they sponsor our annual Athletic Banquet, which is held each spring at the conclusion of the athletic season. In the past few years, the Booster Club has provided new uniforms for our various teams and equipment for our physical education classes and athletic program.
