The middle school program promotes honor and respect for all students within a motivating and nurturing environment. Surpassing basic skill mastery, our program challenges our students to employ skills and knowledge in creative and far-reaching ways. EDS students develop personal responsibility for learning in classrooms that encourage students to explore, question, and experiment with individual and collective ideas. A teacher advisory system creates further avenues for student support during the challenging middle school years.
EDS graduates find themselves prepared for great success in the high school environment. Our high school placement program reinforces our families’ efforts through local school visits, application procedures, and other resources.
The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Before school care is available from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. After school care is available from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m
