Lee Perry ’17 Leads Fundraiser Initiative for Glenn Hills Football Player Battling Cancer

Lee Perry ’17 recently watched a story on the news of Kyle Frazier, a football player at Glenn Hills who was diagnosed with cancer. Lee, who plays on the Aquinas High School football team, decided to raise money for Kyle as Aquinas would be playing Glenn Hills the following week. Lee and his mother created a fundraiser link on Facebook and in a matter of only five days, it raised $5800 for Kyle‘s medical expenses. They were shocked and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support given by 75 donors, most of whom were affiliated with Aquinas.

It all started with Lee’s little idea. On May 17, Lee and his family presented a check to Kyle and his mother at the football game.  Your EDS family is very proud of you, Lee, and we send our prayers for Kyle’s recovery.
