EDS Hosts First Cross Country Meet Ever on Thursday, September 22 on Jackson Cross Country Course and Trails

The EDS Athletic Department is excited to host its first official athletic event at our Flowing Wells Campus.  On Thursday, September 22, at 4:00 p.m., the EDS cross-country team will host an Aiken-Augusta Middle School League meet on their home course.

The Jackson Cross Country Course and Trails was designed in partnership with Augusta University’s Athletic Department and cross-country team, as the AU team will also practice and host meets on the course.

The EDS cross-country team has been practicing at the Flowing Wells Campus this season and hopes the Panther Nation will come cheer them on at their home course.  There are many excellent viewing areas to see the runners – don’t miss this chance to see our Panthers run wild!!

Five teams, Community Christian Academy, Westminster, Augusta Christian, Augusta Eagles, and St. Mary’s Aiken, will compete with EDS in the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League meet on September 22, 2016. The first race is at 4 p.m., with a second at 4:15 p.m.. Limited parking is available on campus, and additional parking is available roadside on Flowing Wells Road.
