Check out what the first grade is learning in Art

The first-grade classes were taught about the different types of lines and how those varieties of lines can give drawing lots of expression & movement.  In order to do this activity, the students needed lots of space because as they said, “Their paper was HUMONGOUS!” Plus, I found by giving them plenty of workspace (such as spreading out on the floor) they tend to focus entirely on their work which is very evident in the pictures. The kids told me they had a lot of fun and they loved their finished product. I must tell you, I too adored every single one. They were phenomenal and most definitely the epitome of expression and movement. Please, parents, I encourage you to frame them & add them to your art collection. They deserve a special spot.
