Kindness Project with Kindergarten

Last week the Kindergarten started the Open Court unit called, “Let’s Be Kind.” Instead of just reading stories about kindness and discussing ways to be kind with our friends and families, they wanted to turn that into action for their community. The Kindergarten class collected donations for the Ronald McDonald house. The students brought in non-perishable snacks, small toys, and travel-sized toiletries and managed to fill the donation box all by themselves.
