Molas and Hispano American Arts

This semester for the Middle School Clubs Sr. Chambers and Sra. Quinn are offering a Spanish Arts and Crafts club. In this club, the students are learning about different Hispano American arts. For the first project, the students learned about Molas, an art form original of the Cuna Indians in Panama. The students created their own designs on colorful papers and they enjoyed working on their molas while listening to fun Spanish music and sometimes dancing salsa.
