Purr-fect sculptures with 3rd Grade

Unlike 2D, the artist must think about the entire piece…there is a front & a back to consider. The students understood that issue when they started painting as many of them forgot about painting all of it.  Also, the students are learning about layering colors…working slowly so the first layer of paint can dry. This layering gives the piece depth. Their last step will be adding the details such as the eyes & nose. Loving how they are turning out and can’t wait to see the completed product.
