Another Olympic Day in the Books

IMG_9301

Olympic Day is a tradition at EDS that involves all of lower school students, faculty, and staff. Each year, the 5th grade students choose the 5 countries we will celebrate and represent on this special day. This year, the chosen countries were Brazil, Jamaica, Romania, Scotland, and Spain. The students work very hard on perfecting grade-level events in order to rack up enough points to win the Olympic Day event. One of the highlights is always the First Grade Parachute Routine which was enthusiastically performed to “Uptown Funk” this year. Each participant received a ribbon indicating the place earned at the end of the event. It was another successful and fun-filled day at EDS!
