IRONMAN® and UnitedHeathcare bring the 1st IRONKIDS® to Augusta. The kid’s fun run will be held September 26, the Saturday before the IRONMAN® 70.3® Augusta. The race will start at The Augusta Convention Center, located at 901 Reynolds Street.

The one-mile and quarter-mile IRONKIDS® is a fun run giving kids the opportunity to race like their parents while also getting the community involved in a healthy lifestyle.

“IRONKIDS® is a great opportunity for the local youth to feel the excitement of completion while bringing a family friendly atmosphere to race weekend,” said Mandy Irizarry, Athlete Development Coordinator for IRONKIDS®.

The race entry is $15 and is geared towards kids between the ages of 3-14 and is also open to adaptive athletes. Each athlete will receive a race bib, finisher shirt or trucker hat, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID!  To learn more about the UnitedHeathcare IRONKIDS® fun run or to sign up, click here.
