Our fifth grade entered a regional Sumdog contest during the week of October 2nd through the 9th. Sumdog is a math program that challenges the students to answer 1,000 math questions. The students started the year by doing a pretest in Sumdog. The test placed each student at his/her level in math. Some of our students scored very high and, therefore, were given difficult problems to solve during the contest. We are proud to say 5B came in at first place and 5A at second place in the overall contest. We are very proud of these fifth graders and their math skills.
