Have You Signed Up for Summer Camp at EDS?

Summer 2016 is quickly approaching! We are once again offering a diverse choice of summer camps. While there are slight changes, the general idea will remain the same. We want kids to have a fun summer here, while learning something too!

We will be offering an 8 week summer camp for campers ages 3-12. Camp will run the weeks of June 6-August 1, with no camps offered the week of July 4. Camp is from 9 a.m. -3:30 p.m. with a half day (until 1 p.m.) and extended day (until 5 p.m.) option available. Sign up is on a weekly basis.

Each week will have a unique theme that all activities will focus around. We are excited that each day campers will get a combination of art, technology, sports, team building, and fun in the sun. We will be taking advantage of the space at Flowing Wells Road on occasion as well! Guest teachers will be joining us at various points throughout the summer! The themes are as follows:

• Musical Fun
• Crazy Characters
• Bottle Rockets
• Camp Invention (Please register at www.campinvention.com)
• Powerful Pirates (running simultaneously as Camp Invention for the younger students who are not eligible for Camp Invention)
• Food and Farm
• Carnival Time
• At the Movies
• Olympics

We are excited to blend everything that made our individual camps great into one amazing camp! Snacks will be provided but campers must pack their own (nut free) lunch.

In addition to our Day Camp, we are offering speciality camps including, Garret Siler Basketball Camp, The Learning Groove with Tara Scheyer, Augusta University Volleyball Camp, and Welcome to School with Wendy Moody and Lynda Smith (for incoming young 3s and 3s).

For older campers we are offering a Counselor in Training (CiT) opportunity. Your camper can gain valuable leadership opportunities this summer to help set them up for future opportunities. Click here for the CiT application.
