Mystery Skype

On Thursday, November 20, the fifth grade students participated in their first Mystery Skype. Mystery Skype is an educational game played between two classrooms on Skype.  The aim of the game is to guess the location of the other classroom by asking each other 20 questions. We connected with 7th and 8th graders at St. John’s High School in Winnipeg, Canada.  They won the game by figuring out that we lived in Augusta, GA before we were able to discover their location.  It was an exciting, first experience for both classrooms.  Now we are ready to search out other classrooms and speakers around the globe.
