Wind Races in the 3s

The Older Threes learned that moving air is wind. We discussed the fact that wind is invisible but we can see how air moves objects. The students used air from their lungs to pass ping pong balls across the table to each other. They painted and designed pinwheels, wind socks and hand fans to prove how wind from different directions moved their artwork. The Older Threes enjoyed a beautiful, windy day on the soccer field during our crepe paper race.
