Faces of Carpool: Holly Welsh

Welcome to “Faces of Carpool!” In our weekly Panther Post, we are highlighting the amazing faculty and staff that you see each morning and afternoon in carline, but may not know exactly what their role is at EDS. If you do know them, this is also a great way to learn something new! Today’s “Face of Carpool” is Holly Welsh, our preschool through second grade science enrichment teacher!

What does daily life look like for you at EDS?

I work at EDS 3 days a week teaching science enrichment to the 3’s – 2nd grade classes. Most of my time is spent in the Village Garden with my preschool classes!

Favorite thing about working at EDS?

My favorite thing about working at EDS is that I was a student here growing up, and I love to see how some things have changed and others are still the same! It reminds me of the fun years I spent here as a student.

Favorite thing about carpool? 😉

My favorite thing about carpool is that I get to see my old students that are in the upper grades that I used to teach but rarely get to see anymore.

Leave us with some facts about you:

I’ve been to the equator, I used to teach archery at summer camp, & I love hatching chicks every spring with my kindergarteners!
