A Successful Year with the Lower School Running Club

The Lower School Running Club closed out it’s inaugural season this weekend with a cross country meet at Westminster on Saturday morning. The runners were divided into three races based on age and ability. EDS runners placed in each and every race! The first race was a half mile where Ben W. took home the 1st place award, with Crawford M. coming in 2nd, and Kate T. coming in 3rd (1st overall for girls). The second race was a 1 mile race and Clayton A. took home 1st place, with Darius J. and Trav W. also winning awards. The almost 2 mile race that closed out the event featured three of our runners with Frank A., Briggs M., and Hank M. all doing exceptionally well.
