Jump Rope For Heart is a community service learning program of the American Heart Association. It teaches kids the importance of developing heart-healthy habits, that being physically active can be fun, and that raising funds to support cardiovascular research and education helps save lives in their community and across the country. Millions of students have learned jump rope and basketball skills while learning how nutrition and physical activity can help them live longer, healthier lives.
This year was a huge success at EDS with 96 3rd-5th graders participating. 76 of those students raised $5,067.50 this year for the American Heart Association!
