The Osmo in Kindergarten

Kindergarten students have been using a new digital tool called Osmo. This is an accessory for an iPad that includes a base and a red reflector that sees what the child puts on the table in front of it. The Osmo games combine digital play with physical play. Students use fine motor skills, problem solving skills, spatial reasoning skills, collaboration, and their own creativity! Games that we are enjoying include Coding, Tangrams, Numbers, Words, and Coding Jam (composing rockin’ music).  You can see from the photos that the students really concentrate to do their best, and are delighted when they achieve success!
