Tara Scheyer has been playing kid-friendly family music concerts with her Mud Puppy Band at schools, museums, churches, hospitals and festivals in the Augusta area since 2004. She teaches piano lessons, ukulele ensembles, elementary and middle school general music classes, adult group piano classes, baby rhythm and movement classes, and chances are she’s taught your kids!

You may not realize that most of the concerts she plays with the Mud Puppy Band are done on a volunteer basis. Thanks to her New Year’s Eve Concert, she is able to fund these concerts throughout the year.

Please come rock out with the Mud Puppy Band on New Year’s Eve and they celebrate the release of Tara’s new family music album, HiFi Felix vol 4! Give yourself a break from Christmas vacation and your kids a chance to play noisemakers/ sing/jump/dance to their heart’s content, while supporting live music for kids in our community.

The concert starts at 11:00 and ends at 12:00 with a countdown to noon complete with balloons, noisemakers and a rocking Auld Lang Syne. There will be a raffle for a Smiley Face Ukulele, and all four HiFi Felix CD’s will be available for a special CD release party rate of $10 each.
