Anne Marshall M. Wins Independent School Spelling Bee!

In the fall, Anne Marshall M. became the school champion in our annual EDS spelling bee. On Thursday, January 18, Anne Marshall moved on to represent EDS at the next level of competition. Competing against students from other independent schools in our region, Anne Marshall was declared the winner and earned the opportunity to advance to the Region 7 Spelling Bee in Eatonton, Georgia, on February 24. At the Region 7 bee, Anne Marshall will compete to earn a spot at the Georgia Association of Educators State Spelling Bee to be held at the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site in Plains, Georgia, in March.
