Congratulations to Our New District 3 Representatives

Eighteen EDS Student Council members and two EDS faculty members spent the weekend at the Georgia Association of Student Council’s Annual Convention at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, GA. This year’s theme was the Magic of Leadership, and the 600+ attendees from all over the state of Georgia participated in workshops, roundtable discussions, state elections, competitive field games, and they also enjoyed some amazing keynote speakers.

In addition to coming home with amazing ideas and inspiration to become better leaders for their schools, their community, and their world, the EDS Student Council also came home with a Council of Excellence Award and with a new title—District 3 Representatives! This means the EDS Student Council will spend the next year encouraging students in 20 neighboring Georgia counties to become involved in GASC. EDS will also be responsible for hosting a Leadership Rally for their district. Way to go, EDS Student Council!
