Middle School Leadership Development Conference is Saturday, March 25th and FREE to EDS Students

Dear Middle School Parents,

Your son/daughter is invited to attend the Middle School Leadership Development Conference (MLDC)!

Red Cross has developed this workshop to help young people develop skills necessary to effectively assume leadership roles. Topics will include Ethical Leadership,  Managing Time and Stress,  Cultural Diversity, and Communication Skills.  Spring 2017 Middle School Leadership Conference (MLDC) will be held on Saturday, March 25th at EDS.

This workshop is provided FREE of charge, through funds raised by high school Red Cross volunteers and the generosity of Episcopal Day School in providing us with their campus.

Sessions consist of small group activities focusing on leadership, cooperation, communication, and diversity.  Students can use these skills to become more effective leaders in their schools, home and community.

The activities are designed to promote self-esteem and leadership, as well as to stimulate an interest in community involvement.

Click here to print and scan/email or drop off the form to the front office as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the Red Cross office at (706) 922-8484, or email Lynn Reese. We hope your students will be able to attend!
