Plate Tectonic Model Project

Models provide a tool for understanding processes and events in Science that are often too large, small, slow, or fast for scientists to see directly. The process of modeling forces and events of plate tectonics was the culminating project for third quarter Earth Science in 7th grade. From brainstorming ideas and researching to build knowledge to molding, painting, and creating models, our student scientists were busy at work.
