Spirit Week Begins October 13
To celebrate the end of a wonderful fall sports season, EDS will hold Fall Spirit Week beginning Monday, October 13th. We encourage all students to participate (see schedule of daily themes below) and show their EDS spirit!
Monday: Blue Out Day
Students in all grades should wear Panther blue. Blue jeans are permissable.
Tuesday: Jersey Day
Students in all grades should wear their favorite team jersey for their favorite sports teamlocal, college, professional, any sport! Uniform pants/shorts/skirts and everyday dress code shoe options required. Students in 1st and 2nd grade will be allowed to put on their sports jersey AFTER chapel.
Wednesday: 3s – 5th Crazy Sock Day
Students in grades 3s through 5th have Crazy Sock Day! Find your weirdest, most mismatched socks!
6th – 8th Dress Up Day
Students in grades 6th – 8th have Dress Up Day and may wear a dressy outfit instead of their regular chapel outfit. For middle school girls, dress up outfits must still meet dress code requirements in terms of skirt length and dress straps (no spaghetti straps or sleeveless tops). Middle school boys must either wear a dress outfit (slacks, dress shirt, tie of their choosing) OR their chapel uniform. No casual outfits please.
Thursday: Character Day
Only students in middle school will participate in this event. Students may come dressed as their favorite book, cartoon, TV show, or movie character. Costumes must meet dress down day requirements, so no face painting, open toed shoes, shorts or skirts that do not meet the length requirement, and no leggings without mid-thigh length shirts or longer. If you have questions or need clarification about what is and is not acceptable, please contact your child’s advisor or Dr. Andrews.
Friday: No school! Enjoy your Fall Break!
