Is 100% Attainable?

The focus of our 2013-2014 Annual Fund Campaign has been participation – participation by faculty and staff, Trustees, parents, grandparents, alumni, and more.  The banner hanging in front of the school measures parent participation in each grade, and thanks to you the red is filling in!  To some, 100% participation sounds like a lofty, unattainable goal.  However, if you break it down class by class, the numbers make sense and you can see how easy it will be for at least one class to reach 100%.

Here is the current class breakdown:

8th Grade:  62%

7th Grade:  70%

6th Grade:  90%

5th Grade:  68%

4th Grade:  71%

3rd Grade:  75%

2nd Grade:  49%

1st Grade:  53%

Kindergarten:  63%

Pre-K:  63%

3s:  61%

As you can see, it doesn’t take much to raise a class’ percentage.  Two additional gifts in 8th grade will bring that up to 70%.  Two more gifts in 5th grade will bring that class up to 74%.  Keep in mind that you can make a pledge now and pay it in installments, with the entire pledge paid by June 30th, 2014.  A signed pledge card is all it takes (with a pledge amount stated) and will count towards your child’s class participation.  If you have more than one child, it of course counts towards each child’s class.  Or, take advantage of on-line giving and press the button below!

Thank you for your support, and thank you for making a difference in our school and on behalf of our children.  Should you have any questions, please email Ginger Chew and she will be happy to help.
