Background:

Since 2011, EDS has very generously served  the host for our Red Cross youth leadership conferences, or LDCs. The partnership has allowed Red Cross to greatly increase the number of children served at these conferences, going from 2 per year to 6 per year.  EDS  has given us full access to their campus, and their state-of-the-art technology, providing us with the perfect venue for teaching children about many aspects of leadership….including Public Speaking, anti-bullying, working as a team  and basic first aid.

Over the last 2 years, EDS has hosted 12 Red Cross leadership conferences for elementary school and middle school students, serving over thirteen hundred (1300) children.
