Thanksgiving Food Drive

You may remember that last year we blessed bags at the Thanksgiving Chapel and sent them home that day. Our food was returned in the week that followed Thanksgiving, and the food bank was EXTREMELY THANKFUL for this since they tend to be very low on donations after a holiday. They have asked that we continue this trend.

Bags (donated by the new Whole Foods store this year!) will be blessed by the Bishop at the Thanksgiving Chapel and ready for pickup by teachers on the way out of the gym that morning. There will be a page to go home with each bag, listing needed food/items AND suggesting family activities for filling the bag at Thanksgiving. Food will be picked up on Friday, December 5 so we will ask that it be here by Thursday the 4th to be sure.
