Former EDS Student Visits and Shares About Life in Hawaii

Kindergarten students had a wonderful visit with John Pearson Welsh, who attended Threes and PK at EDS.  At the end of his PK year, the Welshes were transferred to Hawaii. They returned to Augusta for a few days in April, and John Pearson could not wait to see his classmates at EDS!  John Pearson’s mother talked to the class about Hawaiian culture and food. John Pearson also shared pictures pictures of the protected turtles. He gave everyone a Macadamia nut treat (or a keychain for those with peanut allergies).  The class is looking forward to becoming “pen pals” with John Pearson!
