On February 28, PK classes were given a very special treat– a visit from Nugget, a therapy dog from Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Nugget visited both PK classrooms with her friend, Mrs. Harleigh. Students learned about Nugget’s job at the hospital of helping other kids and then each had a chance to pet her! During the month of January, PK has been studying dogs and the many jobs they have. Thank you, Children’s Hospital of Georgia, for this fun and educational experience!
