EDS After School Enrichment Program
All Enrichment programs are open to all students in the CSRA. You do not have to be enrolled at EDS to participate.
EDS provides a variety of after school enrichment opportunities for its students. These opportunities are designed to inspire our students to seek activities beyond their everyday classroom setting and learn more about the world around them.
The goal of the EDS Enrichment Program is to expand our instructional opportunities to students here at EDS and throughout the CSRA. Through a combination of EDS teachers looking to get more time with students and delve even deeper into topics, as well as leaders in the community, the EDS Enrichment Program offers a wide variety of classes. There truly is something for everyone! With a focus on creativity, STEAM, and life skills, we hope you will find a class you love.
All classes have a minimum and maximum number of participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, parents will be informed at least 3 days before the enrichment is slated to begin, and a full refund will be issued. If the maximum is reached, additional students will be placed on a waitlist and informed before the class begins if their students have been moved off the waitlist.
Enrichments will run in 3 sessions – Fall, Winter, and Spring. Most sessions are 8 weeks long and include opportunities for makeup days if needed due to weather or instructor illness. On occasion, there may be enrichments that run mid or cross sessions, this is due to instructor availability. As/if enrichments are added out of season, parents and the community will be notified via email, social media, and alternative methods of communication.
Some year-round enrichments occur one day a week, others are individual lessons that will be based on student/instructor schedules
To register for/find out more information about a year-round enrichment, please email Elise Folk (firstname.lastname@example.org)
A detailed email will be sent no less than 2 days before the enrichment is slated to begin with specific information about the enrichment, equipment needed, drop off and pick up location, etc.
