Summer @ EDS is a Monday – Friday Day camp with weekly themes, nonstop fun, and local field trips.  Open to ALL students in the CSRA.  Specialty camps also available.  Register today!

Day Camp @ EDS

Day Camp @ EDS is a 6-week day camp for children 3-12 years of age. To qualify for our 3-year-old camp program, campers must be toilet trained, and have been in a preschool program for at least one year. Campers will explore, create, learn, and be active. Day Camp will run from 9 am to 3:30 pm, with half day (until 1), and extended day (until 5) options available. Each week will have an amazing theme and all projects and activities will revolve around the theme. Every day, students will participate in games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, technology, a weekly special activity, and additional rotations of activities.

  • June 10-14: Lend a Hand: Heroes in the Community (Field trip to the fire station)
  • June 17-21: Top Chef! – Adventures in the Kitchen (Field trip to a local restaurant -TBD)
  • June 24-28: Things that Go Zoom! – Bottle Rockets and More! (Field trip to Daniel Field)
  • July 8-12: Where does it Grow? – Plants and Animals (Field trip to Mistletoe State Park)
  • July 15-19: Wide World of Sports – Travel Around the Globe (Field trip to local sports attraction -TBD)
  • July 22-26: React! Boom! Bang! – Science Extravaganza (Field trip to Phinizy Swamp)

Pricing:

Full Day Early Bird (Before May 2): $180/week

Half Day Early Bird (Before May 2): $140/week

*Campers who register early receive a special EDS camp bracelet!

Full Day (After May 2): $200/week

Half Day (After May 2): $160/week

* ALL Campers receive a summer camp t-shirt!

Extended Day (until 5): $50/week
*Extended day requires a minimum of 5 campers to run each week. If you register for extended day, we will let you know within 2 weeks of camp starting if extended day has its minimum number of campers or not.

Summer @ EDS Ambassador Discount: Be a Summer at EDS Ambassador! When you recruit a new camper you can register for 1 Summer at EDS camp for $20 off the price. Please note this can be used for only 1 camp, and can only be used for the Summer at EDS Day Camps and is not applicable to our Specialty Camps. Cannot be combined with any other offer.

Refunds (Summer @ EDS Day Camp only)

  • $25 cancellation fee 2 weeks prior to camp starting
  • 50% refund within 2 weeks of camp starting
  • Option to transfer to an additional week of camp

Counselor in Training (CiT) @ EDS

Have your teenager apply for our Counselor in Training program and learn valuable leadership skills this summer. This volunteer position is for teenagers, 13-16. Through the CiT Program, our young leaders will get CPR/First Aid Certified, gain leadership experience, work hands-on with younger children, and be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of activities for the camp. CiTs must commit to at least 2 weeks of camp, and priority will be given to those who can work for the entire summer. Specialty Camps @ EDS

In addition to the Day Camp, EDS will offer specialty camps, also open to all students in the CSRA, where skills can be honed in one specific area. Specialty Camps include Will Avery Summer Basketball Camps, MudPuppy Music Club with Tara Scheyer, Welcome to School with Mrs. Ryder and Mrs. Robertson (for incoming young threes and threes), Dance with Cutno Dance, Pickleball, and many more. These specialty camps will run either for one full week, or once a week for a period of time (4-8 weeks).
