Panther pride runs deep.
The EDS Panthers tout a long tradition of excellence in our athletic program. Our students are challenged to make their mark in all aspects of student life, and athletics are no exception. Our boys golf team has been dominant with consecutive league championships, the soccer and basketball programs are consistent in league play, and EDS is building a strong cross country program for boys and girls.
The focus of the athletic program at Episcopal Day School is to create a positive, supportive, and non-threatening environment where each student is encouraged to be the best that he or she can be. Through our team and individual sports, we strive to promote and develop individual skills, team cooperation, good sportsmanship, a sense of fair play, and pride in one’s self and community.
Our dedicated and talented coaching staff is committed to helping our children reach their potential and learning to achieve both on and off the field. Opportunities for meaningful character development and transformation abound in our athletic program, which translates to stronger communication skills and productivity in the classroom.
