Support EDS While Christmas Shopping

shopping-cards-01

This is the time of year we are all frantically shopping for special meals and gifts for those special people in our lives. Why not support our school at the same time? It’s easy to financially support EDS at the same time you are doing your holiday shopping. Here are a few of the ways you can support EDS. If you know of others, please contact Amy Holsten, and she will add it to the list!

Target
Target is ending their give back to education program in May 2016. That still gives us plenty of time over the holidays to earn money for our school. All you need at Target is a RedCard. A Target RedCard (you can get the debit card, it’s not just a credit card) is a great savings by itself. They give you 5% off all purchases that you make with a Target RedCard and free shipping. You simply pay with it just like you would your regular debit card and it is deducted from your checking account automatically. Linking your Target RedCard to EDS is simple!
Google “Target Take Charge of Education”
Scroll down page and fill in the information where it says “Sign Me Up”
Click “Enroll”
Choose Episcopal Day School (our id is 5343)
Type in your first and last name and your Target RedCard number and then click “complete enrollment”
That’s it! You’re signed up and every purchase you make with your RedCard will give back to our school

Amazon Smile
Amazon has a program called Amazon Smile that donates to the charity of your choice. Episcopal Day School Foundation is one of the charities you can choose to support. You can use all of your Amazon Prime benefits as well as all of your saved information in Amazon through the Amazon Smile site.
Go to smile.amazon.com
If it is your first time to the site it will ask you to choose a charity to support and log in or create an account if you don’t have one.
To choose EDS you have to search for it. I think it is easiest to search by name or city. The name is “Foundation for EDS, Inc” or search Augusta GA and you’ll see it.
Once you have chosen the charity you can shop on amazon smile the same way you do amazon.com. The next time you log in your amazon order history, prime benefits will be there. The only difference is now eligible purchases donate to EDS!

Lands’ End
We can earn 3% back to our school by choosing EDS, a preferred school, when you shop at Land’s End for clothes for school
Go to www.landsend.com/school
You will be asked to choose a school to designate as preferred school. You can search or you can enter our code: 900057092 and EDS will come up as your chosen school.
Shop Away! That’s it. You shop and they donate a portion back to our school.

Groceries
Publix
We have precoded cards in the front office. Please stop by and pick one up if you don’t have one! That’s it, just ask them to swipe your card and a donation will be made each time you shop at Publix.
Kroger
If you use your Kroger Plus Card to shop at Kroger they donate points to our school we can exchange for equipment and/or supplies. If you haven’t already done so you register your bar code on your card as a supporter of EDS to begin earning points for our school
Bi-Lo
If you have a Bi-Lo bonus card simply to to www.hometowneducationalrewards.com/cards and enroll your card. You enter your card number and then do a search for EDS to link your card to EDS. You can choose up to three schools to support. Bi-Lo also gives points to our school to exchange for equipment and/or supplies. If you want to enroll your card at the store, we have a bar code you can take with you and ask them to scan with your bonus card to link our school.
